Who is responsible for your data
Antonio Fajardo Navarro. Contact: antonio@crookedspaniard.com. Full details in the legal notice.
What data we collect and why
- Account: your email address, and your name if you give it, to create your teacher account and let you sign in. Legal basis: the contract.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, the amount and when your access ends, to give you access and keep accounting records. Legal basis: the contract and our legal obligations (tax).
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Lesson progress (answers, checks and test results) is saved only in your own browser. It is never sent to us. Each lesson has a Reset button, and you can clear everything from the lessons page.
Who processes data for us
- Clerk (sign-in and accounts, USA).
- Neon (database of purchases, servers in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Stripe (payments and receipts).
- Vercel (hosting of the website).
Where data leaves the European Economic Area, these providers use the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account exists. Purchase records for as long as tax law requires (in Spain, generally six years).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to antonio@crookedspaniard.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
